Here’s Where The Story Ends by The Sundays is probably my favourite right now after Heaven or Las Vegas. Shame that band disappeared completely after 3 albums.

This came from ‘Ray’ their second LP which I really liked. Specialised in suburban ennui behind the facade of domestic bliss. Lead singer is the older brother of actor Martin Freeman whilst the flutist, Kate Holmes, later married Alan McGee and would form one half of early 2000s duo Client.
