Love these guys but don’t have this one.
what’s your favourite out of the others? ARe they generally pretty consistent? I have only heard Output Negative Space which i enjoyed a lot but didn’t realise they had a few more until looking on discogs.
Blown Realms and Stalled Explosions was the first of theirs I heard and probably still my favourite. The Rightful Pivot which came afterwards is great also.
And yeah they’re pretty consistent, one of the things I like about them is that when I’m in the mood for the sort of thing I can just listen to them for ages and ages.
cool, i’ll have a listen later. Totally get that same vibe with them, just lovely to stick on and chill with
This kind of thing is wildly up my street, great compilation
Amazing album but I do struggle to listen to it as it is so emotionally devastating.
Fun fact: I bought this from Resident and they gave me a signed poster of the album artwork
Live Ash album today.
I think they did a fundraiser for this as my name appears among a big list of many on the inside of the cd case!
Can someone explain in words of one syllable so I understand just what you do to list your Discogs collection?
I’m assuming you put in the bar-code or catalogue number of the said item and it feeds back a value rating or something taking into account the grade of the item?
So yeah you just scan the bar code on the app. You do not put in the state of the thing (though if you want to sell it you do). It gives you min,max and mean worth for the whole lot you put in. It is not hard once you start but may take lots of time if you have lots of things.
That was hard just using monosyllables!
One of my all time favourite soundtracks
I thought I had the complete set of these 2004 Motown reissue 7"s, but when I was scanning everything onto Discogs it turned out I had two copies of one, and another was missing. Which was annoying.
OMG I was joking about one syllable. Incredible work!!!
So, I need the app to scan stuff?
What about records that pre-date barcodes?
The app helps. The site works too. If no code then search by name. No probs.
Thanks again. So essentially you do this to have an electronic value that will alter - of your record collection?.. and also… lists
Makes it nice to keep tabs on your stuff. “How much is it worth?” Is just one part. The thing from this thread is fun to use. Good to have a list of all of your stuff.
I had no clue how many things I had… then I did this. It can be fun! Or a chore. Up to how you see things I guess.
I’ve got a Velvelettes compilation and it is utterly wonderful. Haven’t listened to it for ages so may stick it on now.
