Bit of a Black Flag binge (well, Damaged and First Four Years as that’s all I have #fakepunk)
I think the Pig Destroyer one is just them covering a load of hardcore songs.
Still in love with the new Christian Fitness album
Seeing Red Fang on Tuesday!

This week, mostly I have been listening to Skeleon Key, Skepta’s Konichiwa (passed me by, so thank you Mercury Prize judges), several Mingus albums (thank you DiS) and King Tubby Dub Gone Crazy and Keith Hudson Pick a Dub. If you don’t know the Blood & Fire label, seriously, get the fuck on it :stuck_out_tongue: X

One new album everyone should check-out is “The Never Ending Get Down” by Mumblr.

keep seeing that DMST CD going for a couple of quid in the second hand section of one of the record shops in town. must pick it up sometime, haven’t heard that one.

unpopular opinion but Twoism is easily my favourite BoC record. the others all suffer for being ridiculously long.

I agree with you only because all the songs on twoism are great!

I’d highly recommend it. ‘Disco + Haze’ from that album is one of my favourite DMST songs.

I think Max Richter suited it well…it can be a bit over-serious and po faced, so some very un ironic modern classical is apt.

this weeks, still a few holding strong from the last week. Really getting into Touche Amore after hearing their latest. Had never come across them before and not too familiar with the post-hardcore genre but this is right up my street
