Oh yeah for sure! It’s a highly rewarding listen that truly gets under your skin. Both Tet and Cherry sound like they’ve poured everything they could into it, just firing on all cylinders. Wish I’d spent more time with it last year as it definitely would have featured in my list. What are you favourite tracks?

A lot of the songs sound like they would have worked as instrumentals on the last Four Tet album, which was also an astonishing album. Neneh’s managed to elevate these to another level. Soldier is a good example of this.
Favorite song on the album is Faster Than The Truth… the combination of breathily rapped verse and the slow melody of the chorus is stunning.
Great performer too, she was absolutely amazing when I saw her earlier in the year. Pretty much played the whole album.

Big fan of New Energy too and the use of steel drums throughout. Intrigued to see which direction he takes with his next record; Only Human hinted at a return his more dance centric sound.

You’re spot on, Neneh can tap into such a wonderfully focused flow and it just blows me away! Favourite track for me is fallen leaves as it evokes such melancholy over like a Rounds era beat, really lovely stuff.

Ah jealous that you caught her live set! Saw some of the Glasto footage and it looked great fun!
