Post your WFH set up, plus bonus WFH chat! πŸ πŸ’»πŸ“‹πŸ

I have two that I switch between. The first (living/dining room) when I’m doing fairly straightforward stuff by myself and fancy some music or video alongside. The second (study bedroom) for when I need to concentrate or conference call and shut the dog out.

I’m trying to limit day time snacks to one mid morning and one mid afternoon, but given I have accumulated a bit of a stash I’m not sure if that’s going to work :grimacing:

Have stacked up on an absurd amount of things to use as dog treats. He’s probably going to get so fat over the next few weeks. Although maybe it won’t be too bad as he’s now getting three long walks a day and I am already :sleeping::sleeping: Need to desperately resist the urge to power nap when WFH as I always feel so groggy when I wake up.

You? :slightly_smiling_face:

Currently staying at my girlfriend’s place during the lockdown and have taken over her office

I took this photo for my work chat yesterday and went overboard making it look like I’m actually doing work.

Not ideal for concentrating at meal times!

There’ll be three of us working from home as of today, just starting to get set up. We only have the dining table, only really need a laptop each. Phone calls will have to be taken from our bedrooms probably. Less than ideal.

Everybody else’s house is so much tidier than mine. Here’s my pc set up, in the back room downstairs which doubles as a bit of a dumping ground

so you’ve got the desktop, which is my main workstation (for playing final fantasy 7)
then laptop on the left which is the DiSing station
then you’ll notice off to the right you have the coffee station
optional guitars and keyboard in case you feel like making music instead of working or vidya

I know. Maybe this should be the push for a decent chair.

Gonna tidy my desk today and will then post a picture

This has been worrying me since the mass-working from home came in. People’s home furniture isn’t designed for extended computer use. Sure it can be okay for a day of working from home, but all week? That’s gunna take it’s toll :cold_sweat:

My advice to anyone who is getting pains: each hour (on the hour) get up and do some stretches, keep something (e.g a hot drink) away from your desk so you have to get up and walk to reach it, and if you live with someone else ask them to remind you if you start slouching.
