Posthumous albums

Streetcore got finished off after Joe Strummer died. Not as good as Global A-Go-Go but still pretty great. I love the Mescaleros’ musical stew, definitely a continuation of the Clash legacy of genre-mashing, and in a completely different way from where B.A.D went.

I do like that album. Haven’t listened to it in years, so will need to dig it out. Probably his strongest work since London Calling for me.

I remember Bruce Springsteen opening his 2009 Glastonbury set with Coma Girl. I’m pretty sure no-one in the audience knew what it was.

I think he changed the lyrics to Glastonbury girl?
