Hate to be one contributing to potential anxiety but I must admit I’d be more inclined to enter a ‘standard’ raffle and would also then have some items to contribute.

But completely get your logic.

Possible idea: do a mega raffle and split the proceeds 50/50 between DiS and the fund?

Maybe @wileycat could do some limited edition masks with anchors on them

The other aspect was that as I asked Sean and he might contribute prizes maybe he might post it on the DiS twitter or something and it might bring in other people, so keeping it music keeps it more detached and I’m more comfortable with it like that.

I do realise this means it is less good for a bunch of people though, but if the music theme really is a problem for a lot of people maybe we can make it more general

You can have the one @anon26275971 suggested then

(proper DiS t-shirt wouldn’t be my thing to do, probably would infringe on some intellectual property)

Might do a selfie calendar where I recreate famous album covers.

Thought it was a good idea myself, no need to dismiss it so quickly

2 please!

Happy to donate 3 or 4 albums if we do a raffle.

Would a still of this gif with the DiS anchor as the record label be good as a tee?

Would prefer if it wasn’t a still, want the actual moving gif on a t-shirt please.

Or something like this maybe?

Hi all

This is very touching however I don’t want any to a) risk any money pressing up merch, as the chance of making a loss is high b) make tees where a firm makes more than DiS c) support any companies whose business model often supports abuse of copyright to make unofficial products d) obviously loadsa issues with cheap labour with merch in the UK and around the world at the moment, and I can’t afford DiS to get into hot water for unethical practices when the return may be quite small.

As for the raffle, I’m off work next week and once I don’t feel totally exhausted and fatigued I will start asking labels and artists for items to include. I’ll then likely need to do some marketing campaigns to get fanbases involved in the raffles.

Need to think it all through with a clear head but sorry for being discouraging. I’m just aware how skint everyone is and how hard it is to make a profit out of merch (we sold about 20 tees in 2 years of having a print on demand TShirt store)

Think these people should buy the last lot of DiS t-shirts if Sean has any left.

Sadly they were only print on demand.

If there is, I will
