Yves Klein - Leap Into The Void
Love me some matte paintings
Yep. When I got and watched the Despecialised editions recently I made a point of looking at each scene to see what’s a set, what’s a painting etc, what’s a puppet etc. The quality of some of the work is just🤯
Cows don’t look cows on film. You gotta use horses
still wouldn’t fancy it though
prefer the second one
don’t understand what’s happening in the video in the OP
Superman flies off then Lois walks back into her apartment.
The camera adds 10 cows
He’s a man but he has “super” powers, e.g. (in this film) flight
The glasses hide his real identity
I wonder if one day people will be going “back then we had to do this on a computer and it too like ages, these days of course it’s all [TECHNOLOGY THAT HASN’T BEEN INVENTED YET]”
The Raid 2
Incredible!
edit, not appropriate
okay
of course there was the george lucas reshoot of gladiator
sorry, wasn’t my intention to sound like a negative grumbledook. was just silly venting. i’ll go elsewhere
that’s so ingrained into people’s heads now that if they use “real” horse sounds in a film, people think it sounds wrong and fake
The car scene in Children Of Men is another that’s a bit like this.
(poor quality video though)
