I stayed in Williamsburg at an Airbnb near Metropolitan Ave metro. It was like a 10 min walk to the Bedford ave area (where all the nice bars and restaurants and shops are). That’s the area I’d aim for airbnb tbh cause it’s super nice and it’s 1 stop to Manhattan.

I’ve stayed other areas which can be a bit ropey.

It was going to have to be a special thread to bring him back. Was considering another bread thread.

Yes, I know. My reply was to his question of whether he’d allowed enough time. If it’s the same operator, they’ll often lay on shuttle buses, or fast track you through, if you’ve got a connection to make. If it’s really tight, they may even hold departure for you. If it’s different operators it’s unlikely they’ll do any of that.

Don’t sully meths’ comeback guys

Full suitcase or nothing. Those are my terms.

In that case you can swivel on it pal

Thanks for your time anyway

Pretty ungrateful Tone.

I appreciate the honesty. Preferable to if I had turned up with the fanny pack all pleased with myself and he’d have gone “oh right, yeah, thanks”

I really don’t think it’s too much to ask that a close internet friend allocates a suitcase to a probably discontinued confectionary product for his buddy is it?

Perhaps you could get your whole family to ‘bumbag it up’ which may equate to almost a suitcase’ worth?

I don’t want to drag the man’s family into this.

Pretty sure my main man Meths will come through for me on this anyway.

New Jersey ain’t the whole world.

Bit oxymoronic that mate

I got the coach from where I was based working in Portland NH to the airport and I just turned up and bought a ticket from what I recall.

It was a really nice coach too - plush seats, “shut the fuck up” signs all over and free WiFi.

I can’t believe @meths still posts on here, TBH.

Logan Airport is my closest international airport. That’s not nearly enough time to change, unless yr flying over on Aer Lingus. Any other carrier will fly into Terminal E, and customs will probably take 2 hours minimum (the officers may also think yr a wrong 'un and take you in the back room for 4 hours of waiting around…) and then you would have to go to another terminal, then 30 minutes to go through security.

It’s a mess. Get the train or bus, it’s not too far.
