When are they actually announcing it to regular plebs, so we can all go “they got excited for THEM?”

Yeah, horrible ‘buzz-feed’ style PR - “we showed some people some stuff and they reacted a bit so we made it look surprising by editing it alot”

Literally the only thing on the video that would make me as emotional as some of the people at the end there would be if they’d reanimated my dear grandparents

So what I’m saying is maybe that’s what’s going on

No way! They’d never score them. Keep dreaming.

Scott Cheggs Grandparents confirmed to headline!

Long for the days when it was just a press conference. Hopefully this one will be nearly as bad as the video they did round Detriot one year.

Based on some of the reactions I’m thinking they might have someone like Rolling Stones or Fleetwood Mac headlining

Or Pavement.

It’s my first Primavera; is the buildup to the announcement usually this naff?

Past couple of years they just dropped a video. Before that, just a poster.

I’ve heard ‘This competition shit is getting on my wick’ will be doing two gigs in the auditori and ‘Just announce it you twats’ are doing a secret set by the beach.

Lovely stuff.

I’ve got it!

The Beatles!

Los Planetas

Local journalist: The director of Primavera Sound doesn’t have a mac! What’s that, a toshiba?
Gabi: A dell.
Local journalist: You’re a symbol of the Catalan movement. Where are you from originally?
Gabi: I’m from Barcelona. You too, no? And of course I protest against any government that won’t give us our right to independence - there’s no justice.

Internet forums - Adele and I’m from Barcelona are in, U2 and Justice ruled out.

Primavera ‘The Movie’ was bullshit but this reaction video takes the biscuit. I can only imagine that these guys were told to overreact to everything they saw, to make it look good.

My thoughts exactly.

Maybe they have pulled something special like the original smashing pumpkins lineup reforming. I’d love to see Max Richter play the auditorium.

I mean, we can pretty much deduce most of the lineup from the festival lineups in Europe around it, right? Most of the May and June ones have already announced their first waves. It’s almost certainly going to be Bjork/Nick Cave/War on Drugs/Yeah Yeah Yeahs/Beck/FJM etc etc. I can’t see there being a huge amount of surprises.
