Only just twigged that JAMC (wherever and whenever they’re playing) are doing Darklands in full. Would be quite up for that.

I’m intrigued to know which of the headliners most of you lot are planning to see. Just out of interest

  • Massive Attack
  • Pavement
  • The National
  • The Strokes
  • Lana Del Rey
  • Tyler, The Creator
  • Bad Bunny
  • Disclosure

All depends on scheduling, but I’ll likely wander past and catch at least a bit of most of the headliners sets, and stick around if they are any good

Ah, I take it all back!

haha thanks for making me look this up, forgot how amazing it is.

Sonar’s line up looks really good just as a side note

And the other top acts…

  • Young Thug
  • King Princess
  • C Tangana
  • Brittany Howard
  • Beck
  • Brockhampton
  • Bikini Kill
  • Kacey Musgraves
  • Caribou
  • Bauhaus
  • Iggy Pop
  • PNL
  • King Krule
  • Chromatics
  • Bicep

That’s the last poll, I promise.

Tyler’s my only definite. His last set was incendiary - and made me and my gf (who didn’t know him at all) lifelong hardcore fans. Went to his recent London show and it was equally brilliant - the guy’s a born star.

Would like to see Lana but can imagine it being a bit boring live? Feel like I’ve seen the National a LOT. In fact, last time they played primavera the drummer was briefly in the same hotel gym as me!

I’d be up for you doing another one. Poll to decide?

I wouldn’t cross the fucking road to see The National.

They’ll be playing the same side of the road, and possibly in your house, given how extensively they tour.

  • Boy Harsher
  • Roosevelt
  • Coma

Oops, was not meant to be anonymous

We definitely expecting more to be added to all the days? If so will it be stuff at the beach/BITS?

Think as another poster mentioned it will really depend on how it’s selling and how much spare cash they have. There’ll definitely be hidden shows already locked in I’m sure.

I get the (possibly wrong) sense there are less acts on the poster this year. Would appreciate someone doing some kind of analysis.

Didn’t they add that Your Heineken Stage a good bit after the original line up drop to 2019?

One huge disappointment:

Over the years they have gradually eroded the afternoon shows. Used to love sitting in a park watching great bands (and also helped with clashes). Then they moved it to an urban space and dialled down the quality.

And now for the first time, they’ve taken the Sunday afternoon away to be replaced with dance music only and ‘Brunch on the Beach’ (sic).

If they’d added it, fine, but sad that this has replaced the shows that have been going for at least a decade.

I make it about the same

There are about 60 acts per day on the main days
