This whole part is a bit “hmm” for me.

The precedent is that their children wouldn’t be princes or princesses. Liz could overrule that if they all wanted that to be the case, but it’s been the trend for a long to have fewer HRHs knocking about. Security isn’t tied to titles either. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie don’t have any publicly funded security for example.

Also, was this the sticking point for the whole thing? If Liz had ponied up a title and some bodyguards would Harry and Meghan be happy to suck it all up and stick it out?

idk tho I feel like everybody who knew the royals were dirty fucks before this has more receipts, but everybody else who refused to accept it is still just going to refuse to accept it. I mean it’s sad but this won’t change anybody’s mind. The picture has been clear for years to anybody who was willing to see it.

Harry and Meghan are clearly way more high profile than… “Beatrice and Eugenie”… literally nobody knows or cares that they exist. There was quite clearly a security need for Meghan and her child, look how high profile of a story they are.
