Oooohhhh. Unfortunately with the amount I change my car it would be too much hassle. Otherwise I would be shelling out £644 right now.

Nope. EP01MER has gone too.

This is disgraceful. Do they even know who I am?

Maybe we should start a ‘personalised number plates that don’t work’ thread

Interesting, I went to Brands Hatch around 1991 and saw a large silver Mercedes parked in the paddock with the registration PEN 1S (or it could have been a 5), wonder if it was the same guy? I remember thinking it was possibly quite a good self-deprecating joke.

Ah, now I’ve seen this post it was almost definitely the same car as it was a charity motorbike racing day and Steve Parrish was very likely to have been there.

Gave some serious consideration a few year back when I had more money than sense to buying my nicknames equivalent of LAE10FEY but then I realised that would be a silly thing to do.

Saw a skip lorry this morning, reg was RUB815H. Lovely stuff.

I saw one yesterday that read

GOO 8OSS

I’m still wondering about it…

neighbours on both sides and opposite all have private registrations. All have about 3 cars as well. We have a 2008 Ford Fiesta Style with the number plate god gave us

Might change my name to match my registration plate, cheaper

That 5 is wrong.

Does anyone actually understand how UK registration numbers work these days? No, nobody does. Markcee will pretend he does but he doesn’t.

What, so you can tell what year it is from or where it was registered?

If it is the former then everyone other than simpletons. If the latter then pretty much no one.
