Aye he did. If I’m reading into his comment, he’d be saying that the doping of the day did not come close to the doping, tolerated under WADA rules or not, of today.

But I’m not hinault so i can’t comment on what he was getting at. Im reckoning he’s annoyed that there’s now somebody in the all 3 GT club that is as dominant across all races as those 2 were

Yeah for sure. There’s obviously a coherent argument to be made that froome shouldn’t have been at the giro, but hinault’s seems to mainly come from a place of protecting his own status, or at least that’s how it reads to me
