Probably stupid computer question

I’ve just got a new pc and it’s got an ssd and a normal hard drive - if I want to install stuff to the hard drive rather than the ssd, is it just a case of directing it to that during installation?

The ssd is drive C and has folders like program files, users, etc, while the hard drive (D) is blank - do I need to set up anything specific in there before I start installing stuff to it?

You need to format it (might have been done during the OS install) but otherwise you’re good to go. Think of it as a massive USB drive.

Cool, seems to work, cheers
