not at the brude. oh god
There you go @JaguarPirate
âpov: when the devil in yr youthâ
Best band in the world right now. Buzzing.
Doesnât seem right at all to not be seeing them at Brude! Whatâs the Irish centre like?
Quite nice tbh. Reasonable enough drinks prices, similar social club vibes inside just a slightly bigger room than either at the brude. Stage is a little higher up but youâre still close.
Parking as well if youâre driving. Problem is if youâre not driving, depending on where youâre coming from, the public transport options arenât amazing.
Donât drive, been looking where it is and will probably do Manchester instead. Have done Uber from Brude a few times but not keen on doing that somewhere I donât know.
Irish centres a good venue.
Damn I wish J.R.C.G. was opening for the Seattle show. Instead we have Accessory, whoever that is.
Yeah, I like the Irish centre. Big old school working manâs club, cheap beer and free car parking. Itâs walkable from the city centre too.
Very fun and cool update to their website - probably teasing themes and artwork for new album. Clicked on book a room and earliest date was 25th September - album release date?
This is fun promotion , Iâve never got into the band but with all the positive talk here ,Iâve got to give it another go with this album.
Didnt get quite as into their last album at first, but went back to it recently and its actually brilliant isnt it. So motivated to actually make it to see them this time round.
Are we getting the dis band back together for this?
Manchesters a saturday but i do like the irish centre and hibiscus margs at wax
Saw them a few weeks ago in Hobart. Played a couple of new tracks which were both very good.
Is Kelley Deal still touring with them?
Donât think she has recently, saw a couple of pics/clips from Australia and they had another guy doing Kelleyâs role (probably the same guy I saw playing with them touring the last album), and they did the Agent Intellect shows last year as a 4 piece. Could see her coming back if The Breeders arenât busy though.
She definitely did not come to Australia, but canât say beyond that. Fred Thomas from Tyvek filled that role for them
Uber from Irish Centre will be about the same distance/price as Brude, probably even a bit closer tbh. It probably looks like a slightly sketchier area but on a gig night youâll be more than fine. Assume itâs Nath Brudenell putting it on there, itâs alw
Not to say you shouldnât go to Manchester rather than Leeds if youâd prefer ofc, but just wanted to say itâs a cool venue and youâd be fine if you did want to do Leeds.
