PSA: Ranking of supermarket jars of Jalapenos

wow is that a thing?

Yeah you can get them on nachos. Would be tempted to just get a pot of jalapenos and go tbh

I often wonder how they get them to taste so nice when you order a pizza and why they’re kinda miserable when I put them on one at home. I guess they use fresh and delicious jalapenos

The discovery ones were the best in my local supermarket when i used to buy them. Not sure why but yeah, the old el paso ones were not good.

They used to come in a big industrial can, if I could turn back time I’d make sure I remember who produced them

as awful as your opinions on heavy metal are Bam, your opinions on Jalapeños are spot on. The crunch is so important. No crunch no spice thanks

These are the don. Deceptively large jar too.

still crunchy?

I think the crunch is dependent on careful handling too, as a lot of jostling breaks and mushes them up, but never any complaints from me.

big if true!

Gonna handle with care in future

Just went to the kitchen to test a few - the best place for it, imo. Definitely got a crunch.

I don’t really like Tesco since they stopped letting you get deals unless you had a clubcard but I might have to make an exception!

Would you be willing to nip to Mozzaillos for some? They have them listed on their website too.

Glad Avery posted those ones as they’re my favourite as well but I would’ve never remembered the name. The world foods aisle in Asda.

Oh they’re in Asda too?! That’s a result for me as that’s the main supermarket in town here

world food here I come!

I think that’s the aisle they’re in

Certainly is in Tezzicos, not sure why it would be any different elsewhere.

One thing I hate is when you buy a jar of pickled gherkins but the vinegar is sweet.
