I think the boat is ever-so-slowly turning around on this one. Ketamine for instance might be an approved treatment for clinical depression in in the foreseeable future.

I really hope so. It’d be nice to think we’ll look back on this as the dark ages in reference to psychoactive drugs soon. There at least seems to be more of a willingness to do trials than there was 10-20 years ago. Speaking as someone for whom today’s mental health treatments aren’t working we can’t get to that place quickly enough.

This is also quite exciting because if I recall correctly the successful clinical trials for ketamine and depression suggest that it could be the first treatment in something like 25 years that does something other than regulate serotonin. Big news.

I’ve never done a class A in my life, full stop. I’d imagine I’m in the minority?

Oh actually - for full disclosure - I remember (when I was maybe 20 or 21) going into a club, very drunk and seeing some white powder on the top of the toilets, and rubbing it into my gums to see what happened. No idea what it was. Pretty daft move in hindsight.

I am a lot more afraid of shattering my reality than I was as a teen-ager, so probably will never do them again. Also compounded by sitting in on 2 people on LSD who did not know eachother in an incredibly shit flat while one of them insisted on watching an endless amount of friends on Netflix

I don’t know where to get drugs these days, but the tv is going away next on Friday so I wouldn’t mind spending the weekend listening to music and watching some rad films whilst lightly tripping

From a brief scan of the internet, possession isn’t illegal, and classification isn’t straightforward, but something like cathinones would be classed as a class B
