I can’t imagine a world where soup is not accompanied by heavily buttered bread/roll. What kind of monster wouldn’t do that?

step into my world, and most of the rest of the world too.

geography and history is on my side against the butter guzzlers.

butter countries:

UK
Ireland
Denmark maybe
France, but they do it with class

New Zealand - isn’t that where Anchor (the best butter) is from?

Spain do it too but with oil.

sometimes, not as much as the UK with butter though.

also, olive oil is far better.

no way it’s as good as Kerrygold

the soup is just a pretence for the buttered roll
