I only saw him live a couple of times, but my impression of him is that he was totally one of the good guys. He never lost his passion for rock’n’roll. Never settled for the mundane and boring. Being mellow in old age was never an option. From mutual friends, people who actually knew him, I hear that he was kind and considerate. The type of person we’d have all been very happy to have had as a friend. Totally one of the good guys…
