Never seen this before but watched first 2 episodes back to back. I like it a lot.

Latin America is bloody lovely isn’t it?

On a personal note can’t wait to see the next episode as I went to that bit nearly 30 years ago.

Also really good to see that mum is doing this despite being type 1 diabetic. My daughter is also T1D and I’ve always been concerned that she might not be able to see some parts of the world as easily because of difficult getting hold of insulin, but clearly it can be done.

Yeah, Jen though.

I know they’re not about me but very jarring to see the end of the last 2 posts

Apparently 88 couples sought a divorce in China after their Corvid-19 isolation ended.

Reckon you start to see the competitors true personalities once they’re about two weeks in and they’re all sleep-deprived and gnarly.

Actual lol at “The Lannisters”

You can tell the mum is genuinely lovely, I’m sure they haven’t edited out her screaming at locals and beating her son.

Watched the whole first series in the week between Ep1 and 2 of this one.

The couples last series were miles better. I was rooting for three teams out of four to win in series 1, and am only rooting for the mum and son this time round. Bit disappointing.

Also I know Latin America is massive but Mexico to Ushuaia doesn’t feel anywhere near as ‘across the world’ to me as London to Singapore did. Would have been cool if they had started in Canada.

Mum and son surely have the best chance as she’s the best spanish speaker out of all of them!

Watched the first 2 eps of this when we got home from Mexico City and let me tell you, i’d have thrown in the towel at that castle cause IT WAS SO FUCKING HOT. I had a mini meltdown walking around that park for 5 mins last week.

Mum & son - I LOVE THEM. I cry every time they tell part of their story. I just love love love them.
Married couple - I actually feel so sorry for them. They’ve clearly been through a lot and she doesn’t seem to be the kind of person to cope with it very well and when she called him deaf john (or whatever his name is), it was just a bad look. But you can see where she’s coming from. He must have been more of a confident, happy, outgoing person and seems so shy and quiet now. I really hope he gets his confidence back during this process and I think he will a bit. Hopefully this will mellow her out a bit too. She’s also dressed WILDLY inappropriately for travelling and CHANGE YOUR FUCKING KNICKERS.
Couple that didn’t even live together - WTF. Clearly too different but I think she was starting to warm to it before the thing happened.
Uncle and Son - I really like them but they’re not all there are they.
Brother and sister - just LOL. I’d rather be anywhere on earth than doing this with my brother so I feel for them. It would just be impossible. She is properly me. I cry at everything. I was gutted for them when their hotel had a leak. That’s got to be SHIT.

The checkpoint stuff - they only have 24 hours rest there don’t they. So they get there, leave 24 hours after they arrived.

Realised that Jen reminds me a bit of the evil bakery woman out of Wallace and Gromit. Think it’s her hair
