next week weā€™re getting deep into Side Project Territory. iā€™ll do ratings polls but should i do track polls? probably not right?

I think you should, because if the next side project is what I think it is it might be the best thing anyone from Blink has done.

it is, which is why iā€™m questioning whether or not to do it :grinning:

My favourite thing anyone from Blink has been a part of outside of Blink is this. Change my mind

yes music and that is all well and good but let us not forget that Tom DeLonge also discovered aliens

The Blink live album is damn good, not sure if stuff was overdubbed but for a long while those were the versions of thr songs I listened to all the time. Even Voyeur sounds good and Peggy Sue is banging.

Remember being delighted to hear Family Reunion too (first heard on short music for short people!) not going to pretend I didnā€™t love the 27 tracks of banter at the end when I was a dickhead 16 year old, obviously problematic now. Man Overboard is amazing though.

never listened to AVA, itā€™s basically Tom trying to do U2 and the Killers right? no way itā€™s better than the first Transplants record

iā€™m excited for you

tbh I havenā€™t listened to either in years but I donā€™t think AVA will be a hidden gem unearthed by this exercise for most people. just silly space music really. I also really liked +44 at the time too, they all have a special place in my heart

donā€™t worry though, I have a decent show and tell item for the group relating to Transplants

Yeah absolutely none of these vocals are the real ones :grinning:

And the banter makes the cd pretty much unlistenable, sorry

I know it was the 90s, but if it was somehow reversed and Radiohead were the ones joking about ā€œhandicapped and retarded people shitting on themselvesā€ on their live album, I donā€™t think the thread would be so lenient.
