No doubt he’s a legit great fighter with an entertaining style, and i know he takes on all comers but its alot easier to do that when you know your 6 rounds up before a punch has been thrown. Gets the benefit of the doubt every fucking time. The 2 fights with GGG left a real bad taste in the mouth for me as well.

I gave the 2nd fight to ggg by 2 rounds so i could see a draw or canelo by a round but i thought the 1st fight was wide to GGG. Think i had it 8-3-1 in rounds. It’s more the inconsistency some have in justifying his victories. When he fought on the bsckfoot against ggg people some said it was his defensive work and ‘eye-catching shots’ (how i hate that phrase!) that won him the fight, however when it’s pointed out that Lara fought him on the backfoot and lost a close fight the same people say, yeah but canelo was the one pressing the action. (Fwiw i thought alvarez beat Lara)

Yeah, tbh the drug cheating is a relatively minor concern because the majority of top level fighters are clearly at it and i will admit to being somewhat hypocritical about this particular issue at times.

this lad in the Countdown community - never met him irl but online he is the worst cunt. does this horrible smarmy contrarian thing where he’s deliberately trying to rile you up but with winky/smiley faces, loads of bizarre/vile views (he’s gay but v homophobic, v v transphobic, said that it was better for children to be ‘molested and otherwise fine’ than ‘to grow up afraid of the world’), best of all accused me of being a skank with gonorrhoea because he wilfully misread something i referenced and even explained the reference in the next comment :upside_down_face:

David Cameron - his rubbery baby face and smug ‘charisma’ has always made me feel physically sick. fucks up the country and then keeps wanting to chunter in and make a ‘comeback’. no, my dude, how about you walk into the deepest part of the ocean where you belong.

It was quite pleasing when a little while back he was making it known that he’d like to get back into politics and even the Tories and the Tory press were “No, just fuck off, thanks”.
