Instead of grabbing my phone straight away, i’ve started doing a reverse prayer yoga pose for a min or so right when I wake up. Stretches my back and shoulders out and gives me a chance to breathe / mildly meditate… before grabbing my phone.

Also decided to upgrade the RAM on my 10 year old iMac which has given it some new life and is causing me much less wasted time.

Getting on the earlier Metro to the school I am working at, going one more stop, and walking the added 15 minutes back to the school so I get more steps in on my day and can listen to more music on my commute.

Got a bracket for my d-lock so I can attach it to my bike instead of carrying it in my bag. Enjoying the baglightness.

Doing a 15 min pre wash on our (shitty, Tory) dishwasher so it actually bloody cleans the stuff in it.

Putting airplane mode on more.

Kondoed my tops drawer.

Try and read at-least a chapter a night before going to sleep, also use my oils diffuser and some colour changing light bulb time during that period

  • Leaving my phone in a different room when I go to bed.
  • Got a pannier for my bike instead of using a rucksack which is a fucking REVELATION

Have a rule on Outlook that sends every email from the Physical Activity and Social clubs in work straight into my Deleted Items folder.

Doing timesheets at the end of each day and generally being more proactive at work adminy things instead of always getting assistant to pick up broken pieces at 11th hour
Not drinking alcohol
Taking ashwaghanda supplements
Planning clothes options for next day during working week

Not sure if these are vitamins or a euphemism for bribery.

Sleeping more and getting out of bed at a sensible time, getting into work around 9am instead of 10.05am (flexible working ish, but people were starting to make jokey comments). makes me feel more relaxed

Sleeping is the key to everything, really wish I could get it right. Always feel happier and freer from anxiety when I sleep well

My sleep is great when I’ve been remembering to take my ashwaghanda (I’m not on commission, honestly). It doesn’t make you drowsy at all but you do get a better cleaner feeling sleep.

What’s this then?

Get some! You won’t regret it. They last forever and are in both Manhattans and Old Fashioneds. What other reason do you need?

Moved my credit card to a new lender to cut back on the interest paid out every month. Also switched my current account provider to a new one to get a £100 bonus, which I’ll use to get a new pair of jeans and shoes.

I, boring?
