I don’t know if he ever found out, in all seriousness. the rest of the office was just in stunned silence, and I at least thought that if anyone was going to comment on it it would be the Client, but he never mentioned it. but jesus, everytime I saw the guy I always thought about it.

It gets worse. The tournament rules encourage “Clan loyalty” (jesus) by giving extra prizes for being the top player in each clan. If you win an event you become the Clan “Hakamoto” and get to lead the Banzai chant at the next big event.

I really, really, really wish I was making any of this up.

I went to a Portuguese water park once that had names for all its slides. The 40 foot drop-and-skim effort was called Banzai. You were encouraged to shout it as you went down.

I’ve been trying to make friends with people at the gym cause we all go regularly and see the same people so may as well get a chat on right.
Theres one lady I always see and we’ve been chatting a bit and she was super chatty yesterday before and after our class and i was like yes im not a total idiot i can have conversations with people (cause i’ve been feeling insanely shy lately)
and we’re chatting away in the changing room and I needed to get nude to have a shower but she wasn’t having a shower and was just sorting out some bits to go home and it was v awkward as normally i’d just strip right off but cause i’d made a new friend i couldn’t be like and now you see me naked so i had to just go into the shower fully clothed and theres no where to put your stuff so i must have looked a bit weird

It’s mostly that it’s a fantasy universe that imports bits and pieces of Japanese (and Chinese, and Mongolian) settings and mythology but stripped of context, so you end up with this westernised hodge-podge of miscellaneous “Eastern” stuff.

Last night the cleaner was actually hoovering round my ankles as I was pulling my pants up after my shower. Geez I get it, its closing time but I almost fell over out of mortification.

When we had to pick supervisors/research groups for our Masters project, the guy who I’d named as my first choice told me in the gym that I’d got into his group and would be working for him that year.

Ten minutes later he waltzed into the communal showers that I was already in. Wasn’t really prepared to see my new supervisor’s cock so soon after being taken on.

We have a thing at my gym where before the class starts, people seem to just sit in the changing room and go on their phones? Like theres a huge space out of the changing rooms to sit at to do this yet here I am with my minge right in your face whilst you’re chilling out. GET OUT.

First job after uni when I was still a young insecure whipper snapper - had to shower in and out of certain facilities. First day in the job and the (female) boss is all ‘right, take your clothes off and shower through into that room, then put on some paper pants and jumpsuit’ :open_mouth::flushed::cry:
