This reminds me of a thing that popped up in my Twitter timeline where a Native American woman had asked an editor at a publisher to remove references to a Spirit Animal in a book used flippantly. And the guy quote Tweeted back, “sure agreed, we’ll do that on future printings”.
Followed by a load of comments from people getting pretty angry about it. Literally not going to affect them at all just angry that something was, in their view, changing with modern views.
Some people really have some big big fears about society evolving and changing.
