For example, chance would have it that I’m spending this Halloween eve with my parents and I might stick on Hocus Pocus. Unless that is, someone on here has something even better to recommend???
Beetlejuice, The Adams Family (1 or 2), Hubie Halloween.
American Werewolf in London? Or some other non scary old school horror
coraline, nightmare before christmas, ooh monster house!
dunno why i’m suggesting kids films specifically. is coraline a kids film? maybe older kids
orrr Interview With the Vampire (1994)
Salo:120 Days of Sodom
lost boys
Donnie Darko?
Rosemary’s Baby
I really enjoyed this:
Horror-comedy sort of thing. Which I can usually be either hot or cold on - but, in this case, the comedy didn’t get in the way of the Halloweeny atmosphere (sometimes with horror-comedy they just drown it out with snark) and it’s also properly funny as well so there’s that
Something that is creepy with no horror/gore maybe - like these two:
The new Goosebumps one is alright too.
Wait yes, it’s the series i’m on about I think - it’s not a movie. With Justin Long?
Over the Garden Wall is a mini series but you can easily watch it in one sitting.
Yehhh it’s the series, it’s worth a watch (from what i’ve watched so far anyways).
I know, poor lad!
Love that one!
Seance On A Wet Afternoon (1964) - very tight, tense movie about a medium who hatches a plot to boost business - with what I can only describe as ‘consequences’. Kim Stanley and Richard Attenborough are brilliant as the couple at the centre of the story.
Oh yes!
such a great film.
probably on YouTube
