Okay, Iām sensing female vocals, quality indie song writing, and noisy-ish guitarsā¦ I give you (as promised) obscure 90s Australian indie band The Clouds ā not to be confused with any number of other bands going by the same name. Think Pixies with ever so slightly more conventional song writing and female vocals (including harmonies):

But now Iām feeling very insecure and uncertain, what with the weight of expectation, so Iām going to have to take the liberty of posting a second suggestion, more in the vein of Baby Queen: Jack River. Self-produced studio pop, maybe a teensy bit more downbeat than Baby Queen, a bit more guitar, vocals a bit deeper. Hereās three tracks showing a bit of variety:
