Much like Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit I’d believe you if you told me he started with the title and worked backwards from there.

A history of train crashes from the mid 1800s through to about 1960 and the lessons learned from each one. An interesting read for anyone who loves a good disaster analysis.

I’m going to cheat a little and say I discovered this through my interest in podcasts. The Dollop UK did an episode on Lister and the invention of Antiseptic mainly cribbed from this book
