I had a similar thing with them at September RSD: said Robyn and Charli XCX albums were out, then an hour later, loads of stock. So much stock in fact, they had enoigh to send replacements out when the first ones were lost in the post, even though it had sold out again🤷🏻‍♂️

Got mine from hhv because I had a few other things to buy from them so worked out well postage wise. Still available from Piccadilly and other places I think.

I think banquet are fine when they indicate stock numbers, it’s on general stuff they have one or two of and then sell in store and don’t update the website quick enough.
If it doesn’t pan out let me know and I’ll have a look in my local. They seemed to get lots of most stuff but aren’t updating the website till next weekend so could pop in

Yikes. Postage can be a bit of a killer though if just getting one thing.

Got mine for €17 which seemed suspiciously cheap. Hhv prices were all over the place, had some things for €35 that were only £20-22 elsewhere and then stuff like mogwai at a great price.

Got the Conor Oberst album from Spillers in Cardiff, which I’m really pleased about. No idea how hard to come by the original is on Discogs or whatever (think it was only realised in 2016?) but the album only really clicked for me a few months ago so I’m just happy to be able to own a copy.

Also picked up the Ice Hockey Hair EP because i’m a bit of a SFA completist and I’ve always loved the artwork.

My only purchase too. Even though it’s my all time
favourite album I couldn’t justify the price, but when I had a look after 6pm Resident had a deluxe version (same as the normal one but with Warren’s autograph) for £63 so went for it

Thanks Mark, that’s really kind of you. It seems to be a bit of an RSD rarity in that as far as i can tell, the only planned physical release of the album is the ltd edition record store day version. Piccadilly Records don’t look like they got any copies in at all yesterday.

Hopefully as you say, it’s fine and the stock levels are accurate, but I’ll let you know the outcome. Thanks again :sunglasses:

Best part of £40 at Rough Trade notts, i appreciate that it’s Lord Sabre’s mixes but I think it’s priced itself out of the market a fair bit, not least for me. 2,500.00 copies at that price isn’t exactly limited

I picked up a copy of Ruminations also, somehow missed it first time around. It sounds incredible, I like the bonus tracks and the etching is pretty nifty.
