Pro tip: If you put out your recycling roughly 20m before it goes you can minimise this risk without any effort.

Got to be quicker now though, because the timings have changed! Was amazed when I came back from the school run this morning and my recycling had already gone.

Actually, this is a sort of timely place to post this too - our bin trucks are now Respecting The NHS which I am on board with, but I did laugh at the use of #proud on the back of the truck.

Just to note, I’m really not shitting on this at all and I actually think it’s weirdly sweet, but #proud is funny

Yeah it’s before 10 now isn’t it, mildly annoying week that transition was.

If there’s one thing I hate, it’s being mildly inconvenienced with mah bins

Do you remember when everyone went mad for shredders? Must’ve been like 2005 or something when they really hit the mainstream and you couldn’t move for people telling you you need to shred stuff and going on about shredder models.
Bet all those people feel silly now that bank statements are all online. Can’t shred the internet, can you? Needless to say, I had the last laugh.

Without a shredder, how will you get the turtles?

What?!
Is this to do with those plastic holders that multipacks of cans come in? Cause you can just use scissors to cut them up

Can also just tear them up pretending you’re the hulk

I shred the internet every day with my razor sharp wit.

Oh no someone might find out my address by going through my bins

What is the open (edited) register?

The open register, also called the edited register, contains the same information as the full register but is not used for elections or referendums. It is updated and published every month and can be sold to any person, organisation or company for a wide range of purposes. It is used by businesses and charities for checking names and address details; users of the register include direct marketing firms and also online directory firms.
You can choose whether or not to have your personal details included in the open version of the register; however they will be included unless you ask for them to be removed. Removing your details from the open register will not affect your right to vote.
Individual electoral registration means that for the first time many people may be making a choice whether or not they wish their personal details to be included in the open register. Some may also be unaware of the choices made on their behalf in the past.

Kermo, if there is one thing you’ve established on here it’s that no one touches your gaff’s bins apart from you.
