They’re opening a second shop up about 5-10 mins drive away, and between here and the good off licence, so I’m looking forward to giving it a go once it’s open. Have wanted to try it for a while, but the existing shop isn’t in the most practical location for me.
I got this one as I have severe scalp psoriasis so needed something gentle:
i used a liquid conditioner already in the house though as my hair really needs it! Worked well I think? I let my hair dry naturally and it’s less frizzy than when I usually do that.
I’ve not tried that one, may give it a go next time!
This is a superb shout thanks fl! I’m loving my shampoo bar but finding the conditioner bar harder to get on with. This is the solution I reckon.
Best place for reasonably priced basic steel beakers/tumblers?
I can’t remember who it was who had the Salt of the Earth deodorant and was rightfully complaining it had unnecessary plastic, but they do it in just a cardboard box now wirh the crystal inside:
Mrs F has some of these. She loves them.
I’m looking to get a keep cup/thermos and I’m not sure what material is best. I’ve heard mixed things about bamboo keep cups.
Best material from the point of view of using it or sustainability?
Using it mostly but ofc sustainability is important
Does anyone have any particular recommendations for bamboo/other non-plastic toothbrushes? Bonus points if they also make childrens ones.
(I’m aware of lots and things like brushbox, but interested if anyone can vouch for any in particular)
I use a Humble Brush and it’s pretty great.
Only downside is the bristles don’t compost so you have to snap the head off before you compost it. I think that’s the same with other bamboo toothbrushes though? (Don’t quote me on that)
I pull the bristles on mine out with pliers and compost the whole thing, head and all. It’s a mild ballache, but also quite satisfying.
@anon89873996 we have toothbrushes from Mabboo. Not sure if they are only local to Bristol or not but I expect they have a website. They have children’s ones as well
I’ll have to check where they came from but we’ve got these for the kids
WANT!
I’ve checked and They’re off eBay apparently, just search for kids bamboo toothbrushes
Not until tomorrow you don’t!
I think it’s a really good idea fwiw.
Fucking infuriating
