Remember when

Tuborg was absolutely everywhere? Festivals, pubs, gigs, the lot. Probably around 2005ish, couldn’t fucking move for the stuff. Never see it anymore do you.

Had a ring pull on the bottle cap, that as handy actually.

Utterly horrible stuff. Went to a festival in Denmark in 2008, wall to wall Turborg and Carlsberg :mask: Never drinking it again.

Is Tuborg a good beer? Not sure if I’ve ever had one, not even once.

Haven’t seen Oranjeboom round much recently either. that used to be everywhere

No it isn’t.

Rolling rock just reminds me of Pizza Hut.

Must have been on its way out then. I’m sure it used to be an option in the ‘gourmet’ beer and burger deal (gourmet tuborger), as opposed to presumably fosters / carlsberg if you just got the regular beer and burger.

Have a very specific memory around this of a mate coming over to our flat in first year of uni as we were pre-drinking getting ready to go out. He’d arrived really late and brought 4 cans of Tuborg and also had arranged for my flatmate to shave his head before we went out for some reason. So we sat there finishing our drinks as he got his head shaved while downing 4 cans of Tuborg in the space of about half an hour. We went out then, he immediately got sick in a bush, and proceeded on with the night. Tuborg.

Mr F still drinks the toffee apple one. She tried the cherry bakewell flavour recently but it was ‘not good’.

The honeycomb one is good

They’re all far too sweet imo and not actually cider.
