I’m 29 but still don’t know what uboot or faceparty is. I didn’t really experience the internet until i was about 15.
Christ, seems so ancient now. The first phone I got came with ten free texts a day or something (didn’t need to top up). Ten!

remember first year of uni (2008) i was still on credit and thought topping up at a cash point was out of this world

same. didn’t realize you could top up over the phone either - would go into the newsagents round the back of my halls of residence whenever I needed credit. always got a caramac at the same time too

I always thought the band Lasgo were from Glasgow.
Alas this is not the case.
That sort of Positiva-era dance music coincided with my salad days.
Ditching dance music for The Smiths was a terrible career move.
