Is there an option to dismiss it once you’ve seen it? Bit irritating to have it there all the time.

It’s gone now.
Didn’t generate many new votes.
Was hoping it would get more of the regulars to join in, to balance out the 100+ accounts that have signed up just to vote
I used uBlock Origin to remove the element
