Mrs Shrew, cheekily, by Mr Shrew, after Mr Shrew has had his way

This is an enjoyable anecdote.

I remember playing Trivi Ps at University and one of the questions was what is another word for the disease consumption and someone answered ‘eating’.

Thank you

Whilst I don’t use a car anywhere near enough to justify the outlay, if it was my sole means of transportation and I needed one I’d definitely be a lease wanker. Absolutely no need to own a car and leasing might cost a bit more but it certainly cuts out the hassle. Esp. if you’re leasing a brand new motor.

I’d be interested in this renting clothes thing but only if the price was pretty low - and I suspect it won’t be

Once while playing Articulate my friend gave the clue: “I think he was German”.

The answer was Atilla the Hun.

I have a far worse one involving my grandma but I’m not sure I want to throw her under the bus.

There is now a separate thread for this topic

Rent-a-ghost. remember that? (just me then).

I think my parents used to watch that when they were kids.

Great programme, a real rollerghoster

He’s older than me and I remember watching it so he’s having you on.

Wouldn’t be averse to renting clothes either in theory. I mean everyone rents tuxedos already for instance don’t they? (Never worn one).

It would be particularly amazing for renting dresses for proms/weddings etc. You can do it already but it costs £££s.

I find clothes shopping annoying enough, the idea of sourcing new stuff to wear every week is really stressful. I like buying stuff I know I’ll wear for a long time.

I used to rent these cars by the minute for 33p.

Yeah that sort of thing. I’d probably just do it for shoes. Not gonna spend £££hundreds on a pair of Jeff Wests or whatever but if they’re renting them out for £50 a throw then yeah fuck it.

They seem ok
