That episode where they were dragons and they kept calling each other sluts? One of the most embarrassing pieces of art in any medium I’ve ever seen. Haven’t watched it since.

I er actually kind of liked that episode 
largely because I thought the therapist was probably one of the more interesting characters that’s been featured on the show.

It is sort of jumping the shark (to the extent you can for something like Rick & Morty), but I agree that it is actually pretty good. It is certainly one that has had the most cut-through.
The dragon slut one though is pretty terrible (although there are good episodes after that).
The dragons episode is great
I liked those parts as well… It’s difficult to explain but the pickle rick ‘joke’ was the first time it felt like they were trying really hard to be funny, whereas prior to that it felt effortless

Sure I’ll have posted this before in these exact terms … First 2 or 3 seasons are probably my favourite television ever. Everything since is at least a tier lower, considerably lower for some individual episodes, but still enjoyable TV overall. No idea if it has retained a cult/toxic committed fanbase like the earlier seasons warranted and, if it has, if they pretend it’s as good. But not gonna make perfect the enemy of good on this, I’ll keep watching.

Seems like the more insane part of the fanbase went off in a sulk when it became clear they weren’t going to re-hire Justin Roiland (also they likely found something newer to obsess over)
Smiling Friends isn’t getting renewed, so they’re floating in a vacuum now.

Rick’s voice is still very much uncanny valley
I gave up after the Mr Poopy Butthole bender episode. The joke being they are on drugs.
I mean, that can work if it’s saying something (like Bojack for example) but it really wasn’t. Just absolute cringe inducing shite.
A shame because at its best it was great
