Had a brutal day of work/parenting, I’m stepping down my meds, it’s fucking FRIDAY and for once it actually means something to me because I’m having the weekend off so I’m on the vino, listening to Goldfrapp and cooking gnocchi like it’s 2002 (per my post in the bangers thread). Just watched I Am Not OK With This on Netflix, which I was enjoying loads more than I was expecting to. It does that referential style really well - I’m not entirely sure why, I think there’s just loads more to it than just homage. Reminded me a bit of the first Life Is Strange, except it manages to get a nice atmosphere to it without it being partly defined by moments of borderline technical incompetence.

Anyhoo, the use of ‘The Killing Moon’ has got me in a proper Echo and the Bunnymen mood. And luckily I have loads of Echo albums that I’ve never properly listened to before. Go quarantine.
