One of those actors who you always noticed no matter how big the part or how throwaway the role.
My wife texted me “Diane Keaton has died. Baby Boom 
” and then her sister texted her just “Baby Boom” a couple of minutes later. They watched that film a lot when they were kids.

Yeah my mum watched it so much when I was a kid, I think as a single mum she identified with it (although she wasn’t a powerful business woman, lol)

Genuinely surprised by this. Seems to have come out of nowhere and she wasn’t that old.

She remained a Woody Allen apologist til the end as well 
Yeah, absolutely relentless Allen supporter.
Her performance in Annie Hall really was an all-timer. Amazing actress. Have been slightly blindsided by her death. Genuinely thought she was younger, although 79 isn’t that old if you’re in good health.
