That was exactly my thought too
Really sad when you consider the state of him in the past few years, dependencies and poor health. Hope people can remember his talent as it deserves to be.
Feels like he definitely packed more than 60 years worth of living in.

After watching the documentary I think he’s the best of all time. It changed my personal opinion of him too. He was as much a victim as an instigator of certain issues.
If you haven’t seen it already, do watch. It’s an amazing documentary film.
Pele never played football once in Europe and Messi has had a team built around his style of play for years.
I’m old enough to remember watching Mexico 86 and remember both goals well.
The best of all time died. Shame.
