I’ve only heard of 4 acts on this album. I was hoping for a mogwai or Aidan Moffat cover. Still super excited though. Such a brilliant album.

Oxford Collapse!!! They split up like ten years ago now. Good band.

I was going to say I’m excited for that one, as much as excitement feels like the wrong emotion to have here

(I listen to them on a regular basis, totally overlooked)

This a hard read :frowning:

I never listened to them much (I should do) but I was very sad to hear of Scott’s passing because it breaks my heart when I think about people being in that much pain. Julien Baker’s cover of Modern Leper is so beautiful.

Loving Manchester Orchestra’s version of My Backwards Walk. That song Scott and Andy did is one of my very favourite Frabbit tunes so fitting to see them involved.

The Tiny Changes comp is unsurprisingly gorgeous. Love the Oxford Collapse “I Feel Better” cover especially. “Floating In The Forth” is a very difficult listen.

Julien Baker’s version of ‘The Modern Leper’ is lovely.

Spot on… the Oxford Collapse is a great shout along cover… Daughter’s cover of Poke is very very good as well.

Craig Finn’s Head Rolls Off tho :scream:

There’s a really good 7 page piece on Frightened Rabbit and Tiny Changes in Q Magazine this month.

Hi I wrote a thing about this and it was tough but good

So despite the fact that I’ve been able to listen to Midnight Organ Fight (and the tribute version) a few times and generally been ok (occasionally have to skip Floating in the Forth) at the weekend Swim Until You Can’t See Land came on and I realised I hadn’t listened to it since Scott’s passing and let me tell you, it utterly destroyed me.

Thankfully I was with a good pal of mine who was also a fan and aware so was able to support me with a cry and a cuddle, but yeah, this one really snuck up on me and smacked me around the head.

Stay safe pals x

Grant’s going to be interviewed on a new Radio 4 series. Chris Hawkins from 6 Music has done the interview so suspect it’ll be really interesting. (All the BBC shows are on BBC Sounds for 30 days if you can’t listen live)
