Roast lamb is the best one. Roast beef only slightly behind though.

Forgot horseradish on the sauce poll, so consider that my ‘other’. Will literally pile my plate up with as much of anything available as much as I can then hoover up whatever’s left. I’m a bottomless pit when it comes to a roast, friends.

Pork is up there too imo, mainly for the crackling.

Cauli cheese or some kind of veg mornay is good with roasts. Bit more sauce.

Love stuffing, eat half the mix before it goes in the oven.

Caulibroc cheese is a big favourite here in the funkhouse.

Worst one in my opinion I’m afraid Funk Man. Definitely the roast I’d miss least if I wasn’t able to eat it.

In general, pork is expendable tbh. My gf doesn’t eat in on accounts of being Muslim which basically means I don’t either and, frankly, it’s extremely easy to avoid.

My favourite is a nice bit of slow roasted pork belly with crackling, cabbage, leeks, roast potatoes and carrots (and parsnips) roasted with onion and garlic. Yorkshire. Gravy. Apple sauce.

Eat that far too frequently during Winters I and II.

Big fan of a nice bit of beef with horseradish too.

Gammon is decent as a change, with broccoli and cauli cheese.

Always a bit disappointed with roast lamb - never as good as I think it will be, and you can’t do a lot with the leftovers.

I think it’s the meat we have most on account of it being the cheapest and best for slow cooking (equal with beef but £££), isn’t it nice how we all like different things though :grinning:

Had some soy sauce on my roast at the weekend, game changer

Heat 'em back up, make a big fucking sandwich.

*this applies to all meats.
