Seeing it tomorrow night AND then again on Friday in Imax. Hope it’s good otherwise I don’t think I’ll watch it a third time.

It would definitely make more sense but I would much rather watch the films that I enjoy from the series. Will probably just read the synopsis’ of the other three for a recap.

And I meant both on the boards and generally. Hard to say how well it well do in the cinemas but I reckon it’ll get the crowds in. I mean, the only people who don’t seem interested in this film are the MRA nutcases who don’t like that it’s another female protagonist. And anything that annoys them sounds good to me!

Think that’s a) a tiny, tiny set of people (like, the majority of people using the DumpStarWars hashtag were using it to take the piss), and b) most of them will see it anyway because they’re losers with no self control who couldn’t bear to miss out on it or have an opportunity to tell people about the reason it’s terrible.

It’ll be the biggest film of the year.

The Forces Awaken was one of the highest grossing films of all time, I imagine Rogue One will probably match that after the revived ‘faith’ in the franchise.

I’m sure I’ll catch on quick - I really don’t fancy watching the prequel trilogy anytime soon :grinning:

The Force Awakens is probably the best looking film I’ve ever seen (clarity / hd / whatever).

Looks like a lot of “serious” critics are giving it pretty short shrift.

I’ll wait to see what Peter Bradshaw says and assume the opposite is true, like always.
