Eric Holm has got a newbie out next week (Surface Variations), I’m a big fan of his stark field recordings (transmissions on telecoms cables in Norway, subsea recordings while deep sea diving) processed into dark sparse electronica, preview tracks sound up to the usual high standard:

Have listened to it in its entirety every day since discovering it. It is wonderful.

New episode of Cardiff Electronic Producers Network’s BROADCAST series. Featuring this forum’s very own @colossalhorse… aka Disintegration State’s Veins Full of Static

I think folks on this thread should enjoy this. It’s all ambient/drone/modern composition stuff stitched together with some homemade drones and bits of Twilight Zone. I snuck a new track in there too.

Really digging Jason Singh’s Water Songs Ep…another one that came to me via Unclassified show on Radio 3

Really liked this too @colossalhorse, soundtracked a manic morning chasing around after the little one and went some way to calm me down

Glad you enjoyed it! :+1:If it can make a stressful Monday morning a more calm experience I’m taking that as a win.

Loving the new Caroline - Dark Blue single…both tracks

Same here!

I haven’t been sure which thread to post about them in, but here’s as good as any. I’m excited for whatever they have coming up, and hoping to see them live when that’s next possible.

Yeah that would be great ( a live showing sometime this decade!)…aye I was wondering if this was the best place to place them - they veer into all sorts of territories including slowcore and post-rock. But with the mellow prevailing mood I think this makes a decent enough home in the absence of anywhere else obvious (though the shoegaze thread may also appreciate!)

I think the new Wanderwelle album is really great. The blurb on the Bandcamp page does it more justice than I ever could so I’ll just leave it here.

So listened to all of this now, like Pete Namlook having a very dark night.

Yep, is smashing. A slow-burn grower with lots of different styles and themes. Bone-coloured vinyl delivery is pending. Unfortunately not able to buy for Bandcamp Friday as they sold out super quickly.

EDIT: ASIP are pretty much infallible atm, with releases, their amazing 9128.com ambient weekenders and all. What a label.

Another smooth-as-silk pressing…these guys really are great.

Whilst I’m on the ASIP love-in, I just love their attention to detail and their obvious devotion to creating wonderful things. The notes they’re currently including with vinyl releases, including info about the artwork, background to the projects etc., are smashing.

And one tiny but adorable feature - the ASIP logo on the back of the vinyl sleeves are modified to include a bit of the album artwork within them. It’s such a small detail, but a massive indication that they really care.

My favourite label atm…

Well, only 2 minutes in (missed the actual live start…) and this is fantastic.
