There was a 7” a couple years ago from them. It’s amazing.

A whole album together is an absolute dream. And the single is gorgeous, innit. Wow.

I think both tracks from this 7” are on the album. Water is the penultimate track, and sun opens the album.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! Boomkat have a repressing of Pauline Oliverios’ ‘Deep Listening’. One of my all time fave ambient releases. Recorded inside an enormous spherical cistern, it’s the most natural reverb you’ll have ever heard. Always wanted it on vinyl: TAKE MY MONEY.

Ha! I loved that thread. My contribution was something about how I got into ambient music for financial reasons as it worked out cheaper to listen to long ambient stuff on emusic :slight_smile:

I love Chihei Hatakeyama’s work. There’s a short documentary of him and his work. I watch it once a month or so for inspiration. :sunglasses:

If it’s about producing/mixing/recording ambient music then here is as good a place as any!
