Aye, I think that having grown up alongside each of those developments and having each one be absolutely perfect for your corresponding age is the reason why they’ve got such a rabid following in our age group though innit. That’s not something you can replicate by jumping in now.

is what I mean. I know a few people who weren’t fans (like my much older boss who really likes Daisy) ot wrote them off back in the day (indie mates) but have now come round to liking them/stuff since TDAG.

Getting proper excited. I was ridiculously late on the bandwagon. They didn’t really register around the time of their first albums, and I wasn’t paying attention for the others, but I finally got round to listening to them last year after watching an old performance on Letterman or something and completely fell in love. Definitely gonna go see them when they tour.

only really like Deja, never got into the other ones. Would quite like to go to that London show and see what it’s about, but would feel a bit guilty that somewhere there’s a turbo fan weeping because they didn’t get a ticket. that, and I have £0.
