I’ve just come across Crooked Man. Wowzers. Really loving this. Apparently a lot his stuff came out a few years ago but has only just been rereleased by DFA.
Good piece on dark techno on bandcamp by the ever-excellent Joe Muggs (who might have posted here for a bit? I can’t remember).

This and that massive compilation boxset they’ve just done have marked Giegling’s graduation into taking the piss territory.
Although speaking of Giegling, I really like this.
Really want to go to Bassiani (and also Tbilisi, which is good because it would be a bit far to go for a clubnight).
Really enjoying the recent A Made Up Sound release. Love his work as 2562 and this is just as good.

Seems pretty good from the bits I’ve heard on Discogs. Recognise a few bits from Live at Planet Uterus/Smoke Machine and the new stuff isn’t exactly a new direction for him, but his old direction is still pretty great. Also enjoying the people who bought it having a sulk that the version on Soulseek has tracks that aren’t on the record.
Back in the realms of affordability Ilian Tape just keep bringing it.
