Maybe, a change of terms ahead of the sale next month. Although it seems like its a change with the football journalism industry at large I swear every podcast I’ve listened to this week has had Rory Smith on it.

Actually don’t mind any of them on Football Weekly and I’m in the minority that doesn’t mind Delaney. Feel like all of them badly need a Rushden or Eoin McDevitt as a more chipper counterbalance. Maybe the video isn’t helping but that all looks remarkably… low energy.
The impression I get from most of them is that they enjoyed watching it once but are just fucking exhausted with it now.
Starting another podcast about it will definitely help with that.

Episode 2 is less funny and a tiny bit more professional sadly. And Wilson and Rory Smith are aware of the awkwardness of episode 1 which probably deserved its own corner on Cliches.

I knew about this rule as it came up for us last season, I hadn’t played since the start of the season and my manager was urging me to play a week before so I could also play a quarter or semi final (can’t remember) as they were gonna be short.
Silly rule really given so many players at Sunday league have really limited availability and as long as you aren’t obviously signing players specifically to play a cup final etc it seems harmless.
