Hardcore and hardcore adjacent music is in such a good place but mainly made this thread to highlight the Initiate album. Couple of months old now but it’s properly great

That Initiate album is great!
Feels like a really good year for hardcore/hardcore adjacent music on top of a good patch over the last few. Loads of great records already out (Gel, Initiate and MS Paint standing out) plus a few upcoming that I can’t wait for (Militarie Gun and Mil-Spec).

The new NO MAN stuff is great, very looking forward to them and Faim next month
They were so good when I saw them in Toronto. Dangers → No Man → Cerce might be the greatest run of sets I’ve seen at a festival ever.

yeah they were fucking great! they’re so tight live it basically sounded like listening to the record (in a good way)
I’m seeing them this weekend, I dont dislike them but they’re a bit like vein in that it just doesnt grab me.
Who played with them?
there were 3 supports but i was in Aces & Eights for all of them drinking cheap delicious pints
