Ghold - Pyr. Think I found this through the Quietus end of year list. Pretty massive sounding London based sludge / doom band. FFO Melvins, Sleep, Conan, etc.

The living heck is with the vocals? I know Leviathan was a while ago but how is this even the same band??

don’t get me wrong, it’s totally fine for a papa roach song. problem is that mastodon have written and released it.

Christ. Only just got around to listening to this. Sounds like a weak track from one of QOTSA’s shitter albums. I quite liked that first song they released off this as well.

yup, the first one they released was sorta promising but fuuuuck this song

wow, burn!

Re: Mastodon - well, I like it.

Has anyone listened to the latest Iron Reagan album? Super fun mini thrash blasts. Would recommend!

Listened to Fuck The Neighbours - that’s a good tune.

Quick question, who does the screaming on the first United Nations album? I imagined it was Geoff Rickly but theres a lot of overlaps which would sound unnatural

Yeah I gave it a spin or two. Good stuff

There’s mutterings online that it’s Daryll Palumbo… not convinced myself. Would be brilliant if it was though

I think Daryl played bass? Apparently on their last song it is Daryl but Ive not heard it

Can anyone recommend any good bands that sound like Full Of Hell?

New Full of Hell

Artificial Brain (well only in terms of doing something quite different within the tech death metal/grind genre tbh…they’re really good tho’)
Pig Destroyer (much closer to FOH, but possibly more thrashy)

Would put these as FFO FoH, but also two great bands in their own right

Trap Them
